Welcome to the WebPT EMR! Time to complete: 138 minutes. This introductory course will walk you through key setup items to help you get started. However, feel free to exit the course any time, your progress will be saved and you’ll be able to pick up right where you left off. Course Overview First, we’ll take you on a video tour of the entire platform. This video covers general navigation and key features. Then, we’ll highlight key clinic settings to ensure your clinic operates smoothly from day one. Next, you’ll have an opportunity to learn how to add and manage user accounts. Pay attention to your user permissions, as not all users can complete these tasks. Then, we’ll move into all things WebPT Scheduler*, this includes the initial setup as well as calendar settings and user permissions. If you have therapists who will treat at more than one location, we’ll even teach you how to handle that, if not, feel free to skip it. Finally, we’ll round out this course by showing you how to set up your appointment reminders. *Not all Members will have the WebPT Scheduler. Feel free to skip sections that are not relevant to your practice. Technology Recommendations For the best experience, we recommend taking this training on a laptop or desktop computer, preferably with a large monitor. Google Chrome is our suggested browser. Go Full-Screen. Use the F11 key to enable full-screen mode. Use the ESC key to exit. This helps you maximize your screen size, assisting with smaller font sizes inherent in the application. If you choose to take this course on a tablet (not recommended), use the spread and pinch gestures to zoom in or out for precise clicks/taps with the touch interface - especially important for the simulations.
